Description
I was visiting Canterbury Shaker Village when I took this shot. It is a lovely place to visit on top of a mountain, surrounded by a beautiful vista and interesting early history.
Mirror reflections photography is one technique you can use when doing reflections photography. Using mirrors to capture reflections can produce great images. However, using mirrors can be very difficult to work with. There are tips you can use to create great images.
Change in the direction of propagation of a wave that strikes a boundary between different media through which it cannot pass. When a wave strikes such a boundary it bounces back, or is reflected, just as a ball bounces off the floor. The angle of incidence is the angle between the path of the wave and a line perpendicular to the boundary. The angle of reflection is the angle between the same line and the path of the reflected wave. All reflected waves obey the law of reflection, which states that the angle of reflection is equal to the angle of incidence. The reflectivity of a material is the fraction of energy of the oncoming wave that is reflected by it.

This image has some very intereting reflections and great perspective! Decided to have a look at everything in your gallery with doors, etc. after seeing that piece with all the orange and the fantastic patina! Just had to see more! v

My selection today in the Minimalist Group Discussion. It is a few pages back in the group line-up and has already been selected once. However, I have just discovered it, and it's so outstanding that it deserves a second look. I am intrigued by all the various layers and reflections in this one. How can it be minimalist with such activity and complexity? I think it is because you have so successfully utilized an isolated color technique to spotlight that "bit of yellow". Nicely done, Marcia. voted
