The Piscataqua River that divides New Hampshire and Maine is the third fastest-flowing navigable river in the world. Okay, readers respond -- but what does "Piscataqua" mean? It is a term much easier to understand if you are a prehistoric Seacoast Indian.
Formed by the confluence of the Salmon Falls and Cocheco rivers, the Piscataqua River originates at the boundary of Dover, New Hampshire, and Eliot, Maine, and flows southeasterly for 13 miles to Portsmouth Harbor, comprising a partial border between the two states. The last 8.8 miles of the Piscataqua River constitute Portsmouth Harbor, which stretches across New Castle, Portsmouth, and Newington, and the Maine communities of Kittery and Eliot.
Where does one start with a quick biography, which will give some insight to the artist inside? For me, photography was a way to get my feelings out by capturing moments in my life. Memories are one of the biggest ways to experience emotions of all types. Photography was that answer to capture moments that were ignored by others that would elicit an emotion. For instance, the way light can highlight an object brilliantly shadows that express mystery colors that can be dramatic or soft. To be able to do that with any form of art is important to the human psyche. We all must be able to express ourselves and my way is in black, white and color. Hope you will enjoy some of these...
