Description
I love converging lines. While visiting Roosevelt island, I walked through this parking garage and thought this view would prove perfect for an abstract. Abstracts are so liberating because anything is fair game for what you have in mind. The red railing was just perfect to draw your eye to the end. Kandinsky gave meaning to colors used in abstracts, which I found rather interesting.

Such a keen eye for the details, Marcia! I love all the elements in this image...the red rail just sets in all in motion for me! Fantastic composition! V/F

Marcia, I recognize your nod here to Kandinsky in this powerful use of color. Also, by reorienting the frame, you bring to your viewers a focus on the purely geometric elements in the composition. Well done! voted
